Excursion to the Hyperbaric Center in Basel

Have you ever wondered what it feels like to take a ride in a decompression chamber and what happens in your body during the process?
Join us for our excursion to the hyperbaric chamber at the Hyperbaric Center in Basel and experience a dive without any diving equipment.
We'll meet at 10 a.m. at the HBOT Basel. After a comprehensive introduction to the topic by the medical staff on site, we'll dive together in the multi-person compression chamber of the center to a depth of approximately 57m.
You'll experience the narcotic effect of breathing gas (known as nitrogen narcosis) in a controlled environment and test your reaction and absorption capacity at a diving depth far beyond recreational diving limits. We'll provide plenty of activities during the dive. Expect a warm "dive" – it won't be cold in the chamber :)
The dive will last 60-70 minutes and can even be officially logged in your logbook afterward. Don't forget to bring your dive computer!
During the optional lunch afterward, we'll pull out our logbooks and exchange experiences.
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
- Medical certificate not older than 1 year
- Last dive must be more than 24 hours ago + flight ban of 36 hours after hyperbaric chamber dive
