Breast Cancer Awarness Dive

In October 2023, our Tschiggis launched a moving campaign in support of breast cancer awareness. It is now an annual tradition. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we not only put on our diving fins, but also attach our pink ribbons to our equipment to show our solidarity.

Joint Dives for Life

Every October, our Tschiggis explore the underwater world together with TSK Bern and TSK Zurich and set a strong signal against breast cancer. These dives are more than just underwater adventures - they are an expression of our determination to raise awareness of breast cancer and show our solidarity with those affected.

The Significance of Pink Ribbons

By displaying pink ribbons on our equipment, we not only showed our solidarity but also conveyed an important message. These ribbons are symbols of hope, survival, and support. They remind us that we are not alone in this fight against breast cancer.

Our Message: Early Detection and Community

We not only aim to raise awareness about breast cancer but also emphasize the importance of early detection. 6,500 women in Switzerland are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. However, the story does not end there: 50 men are also affected by this disease. Up to 80% of cases are curable with early detection. Therefore, we urge everyone to take preventive measures seriously and discuss them with friends and family. Only through education and community can we defeat this disease.

A Thank You to Our Tschiggis and All Supporters

A big thank you goes to our Tschiggis, who get involved every year, as well as to all the ladies and gentlemen and divers who support us and join our dives against breast cancer. Our pink ribbons on the equipment are symbols of our determination to beat this disease and give hope to those affected.

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!
