PADI ReActivate program
PADI offers the ReActivate program for divers who have not dived for a long time. This program was created especially for inactive divers and is ideal to refresh knowledge and regain skills. The goal is to return to diving FAST, SIMPLE AND SAFE. As with many diving courses, online training is available for the ReActivate. Somewhat confusingly, the online course is called "Scuba Tune-up". With it you can easily and interactively regain knowledge, independent of time and place. Before the practical part of the course, we will discuss with the diver what experience he already has, when and where the last dive was made and how safe he feels himself. Based on this, a decision is made whether to go for a pool dive or an open water dive. After a detailed briefing, the diver should make all necessary preparations for the dive with as little help as possible. In the water the discussed diving skills are then practiced. Normally a dive follows directly after the briefing. So the training dive is not a lost dive anyway. Upon completion of the ReActivate program, the diver will receive a replacement card that contains the ReActivated date and confirms that the basic skills have been refreshed. Equipped with this card, the diver is well prepared for new diving adventures.
