PADI Specialty Instructor Workshops

In our Specialty Instructor Workshops you can acquire all the skills you need to successfully conduct PADI Specialty Courses. In addition to the content of the courses, you will receive many valuable tips on organization and marketing as well as customer-oriented implementation.

We have developed our own PowerPoint presentations for many PADI specialty courses, which you may use without restriction for teaching after completing the course (copyright by TSK).

Course content

• Content, theory and number of dives depend on the selected specialties
• 2-3 specialties can be completed on the same day by arrangement
• The desired specialties must be specified in the comments when registering for the course. 

Course location

Course bookings can be made with TSK Bern and TSK Zurich. Locations will be discussed directly with the participant in a second step. For organizational reasons, many of the SPEI courses take place in the region around TSK Bern. 

Prerequisites

• PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in active status
• 10 logged dives in the selected specialties (20 for PADI Semiclosed Rebreather)

Exceptions:

• For PADI Self Reliant Diver: User Brevet “PADI Self-Reliant Diver” or “PADI TecRec Diver” must be available
• For PADI Enriched Air Diver: User Brever “PADI Enriched Air Diver” must be available
• For PADI Digital Underwater Photographer, PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider, PADI Equipment Specialist the PADI Divemaster in active status is sufficient

Course prices per person and specialty

Costs per person (group rate, from 4 persons / private rate, 2-3 persons / VIP rate, 1 person)

1 SPEI without dives (e.g. EAN): CHF 140.00 / CHF 240.00 / CHF 360.00

1 SPEI with one dive (e.g. DRY): CHF 200.00 / CHF 300.00 / CHF 420.00

1 SPEI with two dives (e.g. Deep): CHF 260.00 / CHF 400.00 / CHF 520.00

Included

PowerPoint presentation for teaching your specialty courses (copyright by TSK) - if available for the selected specialty
Not included is the application fee per specialty (CHF 62, according to PADI price list 2023), which has to be paid directly to PADI.

Equipment

Complete equipment is required.

Course type

Group courses offered by us are advertised with fixed dates (see “Course dates”). If you have a busy schedule or would like to enjoy individual attention, we recommend a VIP course. The private course is designed for a self-formed small group of two or three people. For bookings of VIP or private courses, please indicate a few possible dates in the “Message” field when registering.

The PADI Specialty Instructor Equipment Specialist is offered as a stand-alone course.

The PADI Specialty Instructor Ice Diver (ice diving) can be completed as part of our annual specialty course “PADI Ice Diver”.
