We are two vibrant PADI 5* IDC centers located in Zurich and Bern and are looking for one brave diving enthusiast per location for this hot summer internship! Interested in filling this position? Immerse yourself in the secrets of sea diving and become part of our diving school.
We offer
a 3-month diving adventure in one of the largest diving schools in Europe
full insights into the industry - from the organisational aspects of a diving school, to sales, to the repair and equipment care. You will learn everything about scuba equipment, gain valuable insights, be involved in numerous events, become an experienced lake diver, and experience a complete high season full of action, fun and passion
as a diving school with 2 locations in Switzerland, you have the chance to take a look at two companies at onc
your compensation comes in the form of concentrated knowledge and practical experience in diving with a focus on the world of lakes - we train you in the following courses (including certification fees):
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
- PADI Dry Suit Diver
- Emergency First Responder + PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider
- PADI Rescue Diver
- PADI Divemaster (Pro Level course)
- –> depending on your current PADI level those courses can be slightly adjusted also. Feel free to ask us about your options
We expect
Not much really ;) But there are still a few requirements. Have a look:
- You are between 18 and 23 years old
- You have the whole summer (June / July / August or July / August / September)
- You are already certified as a PADI Open Water Diver or higher
- You are not shy to work hard, bring along some creativity, a lot of commitment and are curios to learn
Your internship
You will support us in our daily work in the diving school, which will feel like a walk in the park to you, I am sure. This includes the following areas, for example:
- You help with cool events such as summer parties, equipment test days or discover scuba diving trial days
- You actively participate and aid in courses and diving days as part of your divemaster training
- You take responsibility for our rental equipment, including the preparation and follow-up of equipment prep for courses
- You will learn how to carry out minor repairs on scuba gear and become an expert of our partner brands
- You'll get a taste of the store business and equipment sales - who knows, maybe you'll discover your passion for diving gadgets and sales?
- Throughout your internship, you will be expected to keep a blog diary for our website and help our marketing team create lively SoMe content about your summer as a PADI internship. Those contents will also be actively shared with PADI.
- as part of your internship you have to set up your own epic PADI Aware Event during the PADI Aware Week in September. We will teach you everything you need to know to pull this off.
