The SSI SCR Extended Range course introduces you to diving beyond the decompression limits for recreational divers. You'll learn the concepts of self-sufficiency and redundancy that are essential in rebreather diving. Learn to independently plan and execute limited decompression dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters using the Mares Horizon semi-closed circuit rebreather (SCR).

Course Content

• 6 open water dives

Requirements

• PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification
• PADI Tec 40 Diver or equivalent certification
• Minimum 24 logged dives
• Minimum age: 18 years

Course Type

Group courses offered by us are advertised with fixed dates (see "Course dates"). If you have a busy schedule or want to enjoy individual attention, we recommend the VIP course. The private course is designed for a self-formed small group of two or three people. For VIP or private course bookings, please indicate a few possible dates in the "Message" field when you register.

Insurance

Insurance is in the responsibility of the participant. We recommend a membership with the Schweizer Unterwasser–Sport–Verband SUSV.
