PADI Tec 45

The three PADI TEC 40/45/50 courses together make up the PADI Tec Deep Diver course and offer you an introduction to technical diving. These courses are suitable for experienced and ambitious recreational divers. Do you regularly undertake deeper dives and would you like to have the opportunity to do a dive with one or more decompression stops? Then this course is just right for you!

Continue your Tec training with the PADI Tec 45. In this course you will dive exclusively with the Tec configuration and a stage tank (up to 100% O2) for accelerated or conservative decompression up to 45 meters deep. In addition, there is no time limit for decompression after this course.

Course Content

• Technical language of technical diving
• Planning, techniques, problems and dangers of deco dives
• Emergency procedures
• Handling of stage and decompression cylinders
• Exercises with the planning software for deco dives and used gas mixtures
• Use of special equipment
• 4 open water dives 1:1 supervised by the instructor

Theory

The theory will be aquired in advance by the participants.

Requirements

• PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification
• PADI Tec 40 Diver or equivalent certification
• Minimum 50 logged dives
• Minimum 12 dives with Nitrox deeper than 18 meters
• Minimum 6 logged dives deeper than 30 meters (with or without Nitrox)

• Medical certificate (not older than 1 year)
• Minimum age: 18 years

Equipment

Complete equipment is required, the stage bottle with the corresponding nitrox filling is included in the course price. Missing equipment can be rented from us during the course at discounted prices.

Course Type

Group courses offered by us are advertised with fixed dates (see "Course dates"). If you have a busy schedule or want to enjoy individual attention, we recommend the VIP course. The private course is designed for a self-formed small group of two or three people. For VIP or private course bookings, please indicate a few possible dates in the "Message" field when you register.

Insurance

Insurance is in the responsibility of the participant. We recommend a membership with the Schweizer Unterwasser–Sport–Verband SUSV.
