PADI River & Current Diver

Have you ever seen a catfish? While river diving in the Aare you might be lucky or at least enjoy the many other fish. This course can also be very helpful as a preparation for drift diving in the sea. 

River diving is very dependent on the weather and water level, therefore a short term postponement of the dives is possible.

• Planning and preparation of river dives
• Special equipment needed
• Principles of river diving
• Assessment of the water
• Dive planning, execution and equipment
• 2 dives in the river

Requirements

• PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent certification.
• Minimum age: 12

Complete equipment is required. Missing can be rented from us during the course at discounted prices.

Course type

Group courses offered by us are advertised with fixed dates (see "Course dates"). If you have a busy schedule or would like to enjoy individual attention, we recommend a VIP course. The private course is designed for a self-formed small group of two or three people. For VIP or private course bookings, please indicate a few possible dates in the "Message" field when you register.

PADI Drift Diver

If desired, the PADI Drift Diver certification can be purchased at a special price of CHF 60.00.

Insurance

Insurance is the responsibility of the participant. We recommend a membership with the Swiss Underwater Sports Association SUSV.
