Swimming in nature strengthens the immune system and has a relaxing effect on ones mental state. In our Basic Open Water Swim course, you will learn how to avoid potential dangers and navigate confidently in natural bodies of water so that you can safely plan your next swimming trip as a reenergizing break in nature.
In this one-day course, you will learn
- The right technique for efficient swimming and snorkeling
- The right equipment to support you on your trip to the lake
- Considerations for your orientation and safety
- Stretching and breathing techniques
- Legal cosiderations with regard to boat operations, harbors, nature conservation and other water sports enthusiasts
- reasons why swimming in open water leads to mental strength and increased self-efficacy

Course Type
Group courses offered by us are advertised with fixed dates (see "Course dates"). If you have a busy schedule or want to enjoy individual attention, we recommend the VIP course. The private course is designed for a self-formed small group of two or three people. For VIP or private course bookings, please indicate a few possible dates in the "Message" field when you register.
